first off, there are more than a handful. YOU only know of a handful because other people have put them on a TV show for you or in some recommendation feed. Anyway, the reason there aren't as many videos as there.are sightings is because most of the people who are reporting these things are actual outdoors people. Hunters, hikers, homesteaders, etc etc. they are not in the forest in the first place to make videos and even if they made one they are some fucking backwoods boomer who doesn't know how to put it on the internet anyway. and what would be the point? to draw unwanted attention to yourself? if you know anything about people who report sightings or encounters, it was not a fucking fun time for them. if there were other people with them in most cases they refuse to ever acknowledge or speak of it again. and if they do ever tell what they experienced they remain anonymous. its something shameful and traumatizing. the type of person who would ever actually record and post a video is already like 1% of the people who would ever actually be in a situation to encounter a bigfoot in the first place.

Its habitat is confined to a relatively small area in Vietnam (much, much smaller than the area bigfoot could potentially roam around in) and it still took researchers years to get photographic evidence of it and even then it has only been caught on camera a handful of times, the last time being in 2013 (even though researchers are still looking for it and the area is littered with trail cams).
It's perfectly possible for an intelligent hominid creature to go undetected in a place like the Pacific Northwest, especially if they're dying out and there's only a few of them left.
